AI Transparency Notice

Porta uses artificial intelligence to help process your application documents. This page explains exactly what AI does, what it does not do, and how your data is handled.

How your documents are processed

📄

1. Upload

You upload your document (passport, transcript, test result, etc.).

🏷️

2. Classify

AI identifies the document type automatically.

🔍

3. Extract

AI reads the document and extracts key fields: names, dates, scores, nationalities.

4. Validate

AI checks for completeness and consistency across all your documents.

📋

5. Dossier

A structured application dossier with a completeness score is generated for the school.

What AI does NOT do

  • AI does not decide whether your child is admitted.
  • AI does not rank applicants against each other.
  • AI does not compare your child to other applicants.
  • AI does not contact you or communicate decisions.
  • The school reviews every dossier and decides independently.

Your data is not used for training

Documents you upload are processed and the results are delivered. Your data is not fed into any machine learning training pipeline. This applies to all AI components used by Porta. Processing is inference-only.

You can request human review

If you want a person (rather than AI) to review what was extracted from your documents, you can request this through your dashboard. The request is forwarded to the school's admissions team.

Your consent

Before your first document upload, you must give explicit consent to automated processing (Consent C3). You can withdraw this consent at any time through your dashboard. Withdrawal stops further AI processing but does not delete existing extracted data.
